IT IS FINISHED!

Hebrews 7:26-28 We need a chief priest who is holy, innocent, pure, set apart from sinners, and who has the highest position in heaven. We need a priest who doesn’t have to bring daily sacrifices as those chief priests did. First they brought sacrifices for their own sins, and then they brought sacrifices for the sins of the people. Jesus brought the sacrifice for the sins of the people once and for all when He sacrificed Himself. Moses’ Teachings designated mortals as chief priests even though they had weaknesses. But God’s promise, which came after Moses’ Teachings, designated the Son who forever accomplished everything that God required.


IT IS FINISHED! Sin and death have no hold on you. Jesus defeated them once and for all on the cross. He is our perfect Priest and King. He has forever accomplished everything that God requires. There is no accomplishment we can have or do that can win us God’s love and affection. He has already accomplished everything. All we are called to do is have a relationship with Him, to follow Him. 


I encourage you to come to Him daily in prayer.  “Thank You, Lord. I give You everything I have today. I trust You with it all, the good and the bad. I pray that You show me what You would have me do today. That You would give me the boldness to do as You ask. That I would be filled with Your Spirit to live out my whole day in connection with You shining Your light and furthering Your kingdom.”


All God asks for, is that we come to Him and that we try to live out the life He has called us to. He equips us completely and knows that we aren’t perfect. He is proud of us for seeking Him and trying regardless of our accomplishments or success rate.

You Don't Have to be Perfect

Worshiping Our Savior, the Creator

"You are to take seven pairs, a male and its female, of all the clean animals, and two of the animals that are not clean, a male and its female, and seven pairs, male and female, of the birds of the sky – in order to keep offspring alive throughout the earth.” Genesis 7:2 (CSB) Once I was able to get past the initial shock that it wasn’t just 2 of each animal, as I had grown up thinking, I was then curious about why He was so specific and why there needed to be more of the clean animals for them to survive than the unclean.
